When the Fluke Regs where announced for this year, I was quite pleased with the extended season.  Who would have known it would be like this.  Consistent Hurricane's and Tropical Storms have keep pretty much a big swell for a few weeks now.. and the Fluke do not like it.  Prior we had the Fluke nailed, but now it is really tough.  Tried on Saturday in rough conditions.  All we could manage was 3 shorts.  Of course, not even trying we caught several keeper size Seabass which were returned to the drink.  The only positive thing I could say about the catching was the small bluefish were abundant in the inlet.
