This is no hype story. Just the facts.... Ocean Fluking is totally through the roof at the moment. The only disappointment is the keeper ratio is way down. Still, with hooking rates so high, everyone is taking home fish. Our 3 day total is now around 280 Fluke (26 in the box). This ain't no fish story. Of course, the wind has everything to do with it. Favorable NW winds have the Fluke with the feedbags on. I am not going to give any specific locations here, but I will tell you to stay inside 50 ft if you want any kind of numbers. Gulp! Curly tails in chartreuse are a sure thing, but just about any bait you drop is bound to work.
It really looks like we are in for an awesome end of summer run of flatfish. I have some openings... anyone waiting for the bite to be on to book... NOW IS THE TIME!
