What a great weekend of summer fishing. Ocean Fluke hook up rates are very high. On Saturday, we boated over 100 flatties. With 6 fat keepers in the mix, the guys went home with a nice bag of fish.
On Sunday, we continued to pound the fluke. An overnight shift in the wind from NW to NNE, changed the dynamics just a bit and the better action was further off the beach then on Saturday. Listening to all the "Mahi" action on the radio we decided to check some pots. Only saw a single small chicken mahi but we did hit quite a nice mixed bag.
