Captain's Focus

Looks like another great weekend ahead for anglers and beach goers alike.  The weather will be great and there are fish to be had.  With just a few days left in our 2010 Fluke season most anglers will be focusing on putting a few fillets in the box.

My suggestion is the same as last week.  Do not waste your gas venturing far from the Inlet to look for Fluke.  They are close.... trust me.  In fact, yesterday's bite was primarily in the Inlet proper.  Most likely that was because the Ocean was still dirty yesterday as a residual of the strong North East from most of the week.  That will be cleaned up by today with the cleansing NW wind.

It seems to me that the only thing that could possibly put a damper on a great Fluke catching weekend is the tropics and the line up of 3 storms.  Expect some swells from Danielle as early as today.
