Hit a wreck first thing this morning. It was tough anchoring due to virtually no current or wind so we drift fished mostly. Glad we did because the fish we caught were very nice with the largest over 17 inches. After the wreck we targeted Fluke. Between the beachfront and the bay we caught over 50 fish. Keeping today however, was tough. Still, I am very encouraged about the prospects of a great August of Fluke fishing in the Ocean. If you like Flounder fishing, you really need to make your plans now. Fishing is good.
A full day trip split between wreck fishing in the morning and fluke fishing for the second part of the day is really a great day on the water and a chance to bring home some good eats as well.
