Captain's Focus

Uh Oh. Not more. Another potentially big snow storm on our way, again. Let's just hope this is the end and we can start thinking about fishing in earnest. I for one, am anxious. Just can't wait to get started.

As many of you know, one of the first watched fishing reports of the year is when the first keeper (and fish) is caught at Graveling Point. Unfortunately folks, the glass is half-empty on this one. I will throw out a prediction that is not good early. I don't see the first keeper coming before March 29. The snow pack (read my previous report), this storm, cold water, etc... It's just going to take a while until we have something close to normalcy in the Bay. Oh, and notice I said Bay. Unless you are heading wreck fishing, we won't even TALK about Ocean fishing at least for another month.

LET'S FISH!
