Captain's Focus

Monday kicks off the winter flounder season. Hard to say what kind of season is ahead. Hopefully we can get at least a few weeks of a good run this year. I think winter flounder are frequently overlooked. For one, they are great eating. And I snicker when people say they are poor fighters. On light tackle they are quite fun to catch. I have some open dates for flounder if you are interested.

As for the bass, they are still in waiting. A few scattered catches so far, but nothing consistent. Warmer water is the key so think flats and run-off (Oyster Creek).
