The NJ fluke season opens FRIDAY (tomorrow) and we know that many of our die-hard fluke regulars are ready!! We will continue our popular EB II tradition of sailing EARLY on the opening weekend of the fluke season!!! ON FRIDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY & MONDAY (MAY 22, 23, 24 & 25) WE WILL BE SAILING AT 6:00 AM!!!! This allows us to get a bunch of extra drifts each day before any other boats get out which translates into more keepers in YOUR coolers and it also gets you in earlier to beat any potential shore traffic. On Tuesday, May 26, we will begin sailing at our normal 7:30 AM DAILY for the remainder of the fluke season.

The 2015 NY/NJ fluke regulations are identical to 2014 with a 5 fish limit at a minimum of 18 inches.

2014 was the best season for jumbo fluke that we have seen in all of our years in the business. More gallery fish--BY FAR-- than we have ever had in one year, TWICE AS MANY DOORMATS AS ANY OTHER AREA HEAD OR CHARTER BOAT as well as the two largest fluke ever taken on the EB II. Dennis's 13.2 lb and Ted's 14.9 lb MEGA-MATS will be be tough to beat but, hey, you never know!!! Hopefully 2015 will allow many of you to beat the personal-best fluke you caught last season!
