With the temp near 70 degrees we could not ask for a nicer day to be fishing at the end of October. We had slower fishing today than we have had our last few trips but not for lack of trying! Hit a number of spots both shallow and deep and could only manage to pick at mainly seabass everywhere that we tried despite having the machines lit up with life on all of the pieces. There were a couple of triggerfish and porgies to spice the catch. Bill Gugliatta, Guttenberg, NJ, took the pool with a seabass. We had our first showing of some spiny dogfish as well meaning the inshore water temperature is starting to drop. We will be back at it tomorrow. See you in the morning. (Click here to see pictures.)
