Captain's Focus

09/07/14 We started our day in the same area that has been giving us good fishing recently hoping to get in a couple of drifts before the current started to run hard. Unfortunately, with the wind and current together the drift was already FAST when we got there. We managed some nice fish in a short time before the current got completely out of hand at 2.4 kts. We were forced to leave the area. Bounced around a number of areas with slower current for the rest of the day. We found shorts everywhere that we stopped but not enough of the larger fish that we have been seeing recently to make us happy for the day. Jim Page, Interlaken, NJ, took the pool with a 5 pound 14 ounce fish.
