Captain's Focus

09/04/14 Another beautiful day to be fishing. This morning saw plenty of short action in the shallower waters with a handful of keepers mixed in. When the current finally got manageable we moved to one of the deep channels and had very good fishing for the rest of the day with lots of short action with plenty of keepers to go along with them. Current in the deep water was not a problem today and the guys were able to get away with some lighter tackle until the very end of the day. Rich Daniels, Phillipsburg, NJ, had an easy limit. Ed Broska, Hackettstown, NJ, had a couple of keepers including the pool fish. Just about everyone went home with fish today. Light wind again tomorrow should give us a good drift where we fished today. Only a few weeks left in the 2014 fluke season so take advantage of it!!! See you in the morning.
