After all of the keepers and big fish that we have had recently the keeper fluke got a bit even today. We fished the same areas that have been very good to us lately and found the keeper ratio way off from what we have been seeing recently. Found pretty decent short action just about everywhere we stopped with just a handful of keepers on each drift to go along with them. As has been the case lately the guys working spros/gulps had the majority of our keepers today. Joe Nicholson, Garwood, NJ, took the pool with a 6 pound 9 ounce fish. Continued good weather for next several days. See you in the morning.
