Captain's Focus

08/12/14 We had a couple of hours of good drift early this morning and made it count!! Returned to where we have been fishing lately and had fish on right away. We stayed on our first drift for nearly two hours and had constant action with keepers and shorts until we finally lost the drift. The guys then had to work hard to put some more fish in the coolers from that point onward but by that time our day was already made!! Tom Hollywood Sr. & Jr., Staten Island, NY, put on a fishing clinic and were both limited out by 9:30 this morning. We ended up with several limits for the day and others, like "Trenton" Al and THE FLUKEMAN etc., each having four nice fish. Everyone had at least a couple of fish to take home. Spros, gulps and natural baits all produced but all of the limits were caught on large gulps. Strong wind and heavy rain tomorrow so we will NOT be shaping up in the morning.
