07/16/14 Not a lot of fishermen around today with some boats not even getting out. We had some of our regulars aboard and found decent fishing in the morning with mostly nice keepers and only a few shorts. The guys picked until the current died and we lost the drift. Left the area to find some movement elsewhere and managed a few more fish closer to home to end the day. It was a nice day for sure with nice people. Tom Hollywood, Sr., Staten Island, NY, had three keepers and took the pool with a 4 pound 10 ounce fish. Only one person failed to take at least one keeper home.
