Captain's Focus

05/29/14

It was good to get back on the fluke grounds with a bunch of regulars after an overblown, bogus weather forecast yesterday kept the entire fleet at the docks. Anyway we found the fish todayright where we left them on Tuesday and were VERY PLEASED with the catch we put together by quitting time! There were a bunch of nice fish once again for our happy fishermen. Mike Panko, New Smyrna Beach, Fla., is up on vacation visiting friends and showed that he did not forget how to fluke after years down south. He had his limit which included fish of 4 pounds 10 ounces, 5 pounds 11 ounces and a 6 pound 8 ounce fish which took the pool! NICE JOB MIKE!! Dennis Ziober, Port Reading, NJ, had three keepers up to 5 pounds 6 ounces. Sam Ingallinesi, Pompton Lakes, NJ, ended up with four quality fish up to 4 pounds. Weather looks great for the next several days.
