It was slower fishing today on the tog grounds than yesterday. We had a very strong current everywhere we fished. We managed a handful of keeper and short blackfish on every piece but not enough to make us happy. Bob Clay, Belleville, NJ, took the pool with a nice codfish. Tomorrow we will be back to striper fishing every day until the fluke season opens.
