Captain's Focus

We kicked off our spring striped bass fishing today. The fishing was slow for us--and all of the other boats--although John "The Whale", Newark, NJ, caught a very nice 18 pound fish for our first fish of the season which held on to take the pool. The bay water temperature is up to 50 degrees which is a five degree jump this week and should turn the bass bite on at any time. It was nice to start the season with some of our regulars on such a pretty day.
