We had a little southwest breeze today but the conditions were fine for late-December blackfishing. Made a couple of drops in the area we have been fishing and had plenty of action most of the day on each spot. For whatever reason the stern of the boat had the best of the fishing on each drop with the bow just picking at some fish. Plenty of short action with a bunch of keepers up to 8 pounds in the mix. Bob Rydziewski, Newark, NJ, took the pool with one of his togs and also had our first legal codfish of the season.(Click here to see pictures)
