Well there was very little wind but a decent residual swell from yesterday's wind which we thought was going to slow today's fishing. That was NOT the case. We only needed to make two drops all day to put a nice mixed catch together. The first drop was best for the guys fishing in the bow and consisted mainly of keeper blackfish with a few seabass and porgies mixed in. The second drop in the same area was mostly all seabass with probably a 50-50 mix of keepers and shorts with a number of double headers being caught. It was nice to be able to keep the same seabass we have had to throw back the past couple of weeks. Everyone was able to add their one keeper blackfish to the bags of filets they took home. Tom Hollywood Sr., Staten Island, NY, took the pool with a 5 pound blackfish. Remember to turn your clocks back tonight. (Click here to see pictures.)
