The "doom and gloom" weather that we were supposed to experience today has passed through this morning and the ocean has already begun to calm down. There will be light winds for Saturday but the entire weekend looks nice. The seabass season is now OPEN for the remainder of the year, there have been porgies inshore before the blow for the guys who still want them and the guys using the green crabs have had no problem picking through lots of nice sized fish to take their one legal blackfish home as well.
