The Striped Bass won!!! There are just so many trips you can make and still remain positive when you can't put a single keeper in the boat. This has been the worst Striper year since I have been sailing out of the Atlantic Highlands and I have exhausted all excuses and rational as to why the fish are not being boated. Whatever the reason, the keeper stripers are just not here and I cannot continue to take anglers out for "catch and release".
So, I shall spend this wonderful time of the year with my wife and family, enjoying the holidays to the fullest. Now that I think about it, the Bass did not win, I did!
