6/29/14:Let's start at the very beginning, it's a very good place to start. Last Sunday was very productive, then Monday was slow (almost a halt), then Tuesday was much better, and Wednesday and Thursday slow again. OK, we are FLUKING, oh yea no wonder! It's all about conditions. Did you see the water! GREEN! It was all OK with Joe Pusakones of Manahawkin, NJ, who won the pool with a 2.3-lb fluke. And it was OK with Chris Gccletti of Basking Ridge, NJ, with a 4.5-lber, or Jeff Bauer of Manahawkin, NJ with a 3.8-lber, and Jimmy Cryan of Florence NJ, who won with a 4.4-lb fluke, and if we had a second prize, he would have won that also, nice pair of fluke, Jim! Then also there was Jack O'Halloran on Sunday from Barnegat, NJ, who took the money with a nice 4-lb fluke. We also had a youth group with the Blue Ball Mennonite Church, and the kids had a blast, fishing was a bit slow, but a few sea bass and ling, and the excellent weather conditions, made the trip really nice! Thanks to Gene and Wesley for arranging the trip. Hope to see your group again! The summer season is here! OK, the 6-hour trips will continue through July 10! After that, we will be switching over to the two 4-hour trips! Hey, if you want to join us on the July 4th fireworks cruise to Seaside, come on! What a blast! It's so much fun, and the boat ride is wonderful, and fireworks are short but very sweet! What a nice entertainment night! No traffic, great parking, and a great price! Let's hope the weather is fine! Aboard the CA3 is a family atmosphere. Always a helpful crew and funny, but we take our fishing very seriously. If you need help tying rigs, knots with braid, jigging with sproes, jigheads with gulp, our crew is very experienced with the most up-to-date fishing techniques. Don't be scared, be prepared!
