Captain's Focus

Had a short window of opportunity this morning to try and catch a few fish in the channel. With the wind blowing pretty good and the start of the outgoing the drift was going to rip!!
Had some very nice keepers on the first 4 drifts (including) Jerry's pool fish at 8 1/4 pounds. Ran down the beach when the float reached 2 1/2 knots, didn't like what I saw there so we blasted off again.

Nice pick of keepers and shorts for the rest of the day. High hook had 4 nice fish, Dave and his son who is home on leave had 4 nice fish in the box. Some 3's a bunch of 2's and so on. Great day on the water.

Fluke season should run through the 24th of September.

Thanks,

Capt. ron
