The only thing that I can say about Saturday’s trip is…. The past is the past! The wind blew 30 kts out of the north and had us hand tied the entire day. Like I said, the past is the past.

Today started very dismal, but there was a glimmer of hope as the day progressed. We found a few fish in a location where I would love to catch them. It was not good fishing at all, but it was a sign that there are fish in our neck of the woods. Everything we caught, we caught without good conditions, and it has led me to believe that this fishing may break wide open any day now. Looking back to this date last season reassures my feelings, as the best fishing we had during the 2013 season was one year ago this week. The weather this week looks perfect! Only time will tell.
