Conditions
Finally a day with nice conditions. The wind is very light out of the southwest and we will have incoming tide for most of the trip. We will get a shot at the tide change very late in the day.

Pregame Show
After a few very tough days of fishing, things perked up somewhat yesterday. I wouldn’t call it good, but I would say it was a few fish better than bad. There were three anglers with 3 keepers and a couple big fish. Ray Angotti put a 6 pound fluke in the boat early, and it looked as if he would have the pool money wrapped up, but it wasn’t  meant to be. Ray fish was beat out by 5 ounces on the final drift.

Today we have our sights on improvement. The conditions are good, and we will grind it out until hopefully a little magic happens. If yesterday was a few fish better, maybe today we can make it a bucket full better. We will see.

Wednesday’s, Saturday’s & Sunday’s

11:15am Update
We struck a little gold in the form of big fish. We go through some areas where we catch 5 or 6 fish all at once and then it’s dry for 5 minutes or so. Just about all the fish are 4 pounds or better. NICE!!!!!!

12:15pm Mid Drift Update
WOW!! BOOM BOOM POW! And anything else you want to say. We are having one heck of a comeback back day! Limits! Big Fish! New Flukemaster Leader! Man o man!!

Pre Postgame
Once again. . . WOW!!! . .  We had an outstanding day of fluking! . . . Finally!!!! It was a ROUGH few days leading up to today, and I’m not going to lie, deep down I was questioning if whether or not the fluke had moved out. Luckily, my doubts were answered!! In a big way! It’s time to scrub the boat now. I will have the full postgame up with photos in a couple of hours. BOOM!

Postgame Show
We beat them up today and we caught some big ones up to 8 pounds. There were 5 limits and more than a few anglers with 4 keepers. Walter Petka caught a 7 lb 8 oz fish which is the new leader in the September Flukemaster Pool. It was a great day on the water, and even a better day of fishing. Like I said earlier, this was a blessing after the fishing that we had the past few days. I will let the photos do the rest of the talking!
