Tuesday, 9/3/13 & Wednesday, 9/4/13 Report
Tuesday
The fishing on Tuesday was excellent, the keeper ratio was not. Russ Yeager caught over 50 fish with 2 keepers mixed in. John Deveroux put 1 keeper in his cooler out of 46 fish. There were a couple of anglers who had more success with the keepers. Jimmy Bufis put 4 keepers in his box, Alan Kearns and Frank Jacobs each caught 3 keepers.
Wednesday, 9/4/13 Report
Highlight of the day was Joe Mattis catching his limit. Jimmy Bufis was one fish away from the limit for the second straight day. . . For most of the day it was a struggle and the weather was to blame. There was a hard wind for most of the day which not only effected the fishing, but effected where we could fish. With the deep channels out of the equation, we bounced around the flats and rough bottom in hopes of finding anything that would bite. Luckily we had a little magic late in the day on the change of tide. Biggest fish on the boat was just under 7 pounds.
