Conditions
Another day of terrible conditions with the wind against the tide, but it worked out well for us yesterday.

Pregame Show
There was no optimism when we pulled out of the slip yesterday morning due to the extremely poor conditions. As we make our way across the bay this morning, we are faced with similar conditions, but the attitude is much different. It almost like the battle scene in the movie Braveheart, only our anglers are are the ones running down the hill to attack the fluke with vengeance and fury. There will be some battle scars along the way, but we will be the ones standing victorious in the end!

August Flukemaster Classic Update
George Cullen survived a few close calls yesterday, and still holds the top spot with a 6lb 14oz fish. The pot is up to $970.00!

I don’t know how the updates are going to come to you today, whether it’s in the for of drift by drift, or something different. Either way the updates will come!

BOOM! The current Mr. August himself just landed a 5 pounder. NICE!

Doormats galore was the trend yesterday, not so much today. There have been a few nice ones caught, but as of now the overall fishing is disappointing.

One 5 pounder and a 4 1/2 pound fish followed. Other than those two fish it was a long drift of mostly shorts.

You can’t catch yesterday’s fish! That has become very apparent today. While we did catch a few lunkers, this area has been a bust. We are picking up the lines and heading to Ambrose. The wind has come around to the north, making for decent conditions in that channel.

NICE!!! A 6 pounder and a few 4 1/2 to 5 pounders came over the rail! Not great fishing, but the keepers that we are catching are really nice fish!

George Doll heated up in Ambrose, catching three keepers up to 5 1/2 pounds. Running up for the final drift.

Postgame Show
Although there were a few big fish caught, we couldn’t recapture the magic from Monday. It wasn’t a bad day, and I wouldn’t categorize it as great either. Kind of middle of the road. I’ll post the pictures from today either tonight or tomorrow morning. See  you then!
