We caught 10 big-eyes already this season and our new 12” Canyon Runner Squid Bars and Yellow Greem Machine Bars have accounted for many of them.

Not to mention - our new Canyon Runner dredges have been so productive I have the crews now fighting over who gets the electric LP reels and who doesn’t on each trip. I have 2 more on order from LP right now to avoid the fights – can’t get them soon enough. HaHa! We’ve actually had a couple of these big-eyes blow right through the dredge knocking it out of the water then turn and pile on lure that was trolled right above or alongside the dredge. If you haven’t added these 12” Canyon Runner Squid Bars or these dredges to your arsenal you are missing out – we’ve been using them for 2 years now and they have proven deadly on the big-eyes and all other tunas for that matter. Check them out at www.canyonrunner.com and get yourself a pair.
Reports:
48 Viking – 7/3-4 – No Tunas a few Mahis
We took out 6 of Americas finest out on our annual FREE Military Veterans trip and they didnÂ’t get what they deserved as the fishing was not what is was the last time we had gotten out over a week prior. It was heart breaking is the Vets on the 48 Viking only had a couple bites and didn't catch any tuna fishing all over the Hudson Canyon. They had some mahis and we were going to extend the trip and do another day of sharking and bluefinning but there were a couple guys sick so the group decided to head in early.
