Capt. Mark DeBlasio had an open boat trip out Sunday – Monday and ran to the Hudson Canyon. Trolling Canyon Runner Squid Spreader bars he pulled 3 yellowfin 45-60lbs and had 10 more bites that were lost to pulled hooks or misses including a pair of Bigeyes. At night he had a 120# mako. The highlight of the trip was when a 400 pound Blue marlin ate a Canyon Runner Big-Eye Runner Lure (our “secret†lure that has accounted for 9 blue marlin and 15 big-eye in the past year and a half.
