Capt. Phil Dulanie and Capt. Jay Richardella with mate Will Howell in the pit had the Jeff Beers charter out Wednesday to Thursday and had another stellar trip. They again headed to the Southern Canyons (Carteret, Lindy, Spencer Area) where they found the yellowfin on the feed. Working North to South in 600 feet of water – Canyon Runner Spreader Bars and Ballyhoo got the fish to respond and by sunset they had 7 in the boat. The night bite was again fruitful with another mako on the deck in the 130 pound class. Up on the troll in the morning they started picking away nicely working back North and finished up with 21 yellowfin. They kept 14 and released 7. These fish were spread out in size with 4 or 5 only around 30 pounds and a few around 100. Most of the fish were in the 40-60 pound class.
