Capt Mark DeBlasio with Capt. Deanne Lambros and our newest captain – Capt. Ryan DiBaggio (congrats Ryan) in the pit took out the John Deno group with George Becker and Todd Zuccone on as well on an open boat trip Thursday to Friday. They left Manasquan in some sporty conditions but ended up making it to the 100-square area of the Hudson by 3pm. Trolling there did not produce the bite they had earlier in the week so they know it was time to look to where the fish had moved.

A wiggle down the edge and across to the west side was successful as the quickly had a 4 bagger. Working that area into the dark they nailed 2 more yellowfin at 9:30pm on the troll and immediately set up there for the night. The night bite produced 9 yellowfin on the chunk and the morning bite produced another single for a total of 16. Only 12 were kept with 4 released to fight another day.
