Continuing on the 60’ Ritchie Capt. Mike Zajac and Capt. Hook took out the Derrick Rodberg charter Sunday to Monday to the Hudson only to see the great action completely died out. Trolling with Derrick’s two sons and their friend (9 year olds and 11 year olds) we had fun with mahi and a nice yellowfin very quickly to get the kids settled in but then they really got to experience offshore fishing. Nothing happened the rest of the afternoon troll.

The night bite – which ended up being one of the prettiest nights in the canyon was eventful in the fact we boated our first yellowfin of 2010 on the chunk when it ate a dead squid at 50 feet. The morning boat saw another couple mahi but no other tuna.
