Capt. Phil Dulanie and Capt. Mark DeCabia took the Pedro Rodriquez charter out on the Canyon Runner Sunday to Monday and got a late start waiting for the wind to lay down so they got to the edge late and went right to the chunk all the way down in the Spencer Canyon. They put it on the drift looking for the warm water at 26455/42598 and pick one fish. They then got a call of a good bite up in the Carteret so they picked up and ran to 26390/42729 where they set up in 605 feet of water. They had good quick pick of 4 yellowfin on sardines and live squid at 60 and 100 feet but the bite turned off as quickly as it started. They never got a bite after 3am.
