11/30/2013 We had the John Herman charter on board the Bounty Hunter today. With the Northeast wind gusting to 20 knots it was a slow rough ride up to between the channels. Once there we found plenty of bird activity and plenty of Bass however almost all the Bass were shorts. John's crew jigged Ava's and soft baits for over 2 hours landing over 40 short Bass and one keeper. At slack water the bite died and we moved south and trolled the Rocks and the Spring Lake area with no success. Today was one of the slowest days we've had in a long time. John's crew gave it a maximum effort and toughed it out all day.
