Captain's Focus

12-14-14 Perfect conditions today,,flat calm...Just a light Nw breeze kept us tight on the anchors..North current today was about the only thing we had to deal with...A little heavier in the lead department was a must....Fishing was overall good I thought,,only problem was that it was limited to certain areas...The back of the boat and port side produced most of the fish early....The bow was dead for the  most part...Current had alot to due with that....The end of the day the bow got most of the action when the tide slowed down.In the end alot caught fish,,guys had there limit of fish and we also had people with 3,4 or 5 etc....But we also had some guys who were just not dialed in and struggled.Typical Blackfishing day I thought...Still I was ok with the bites and the life..Blackfish Bobby took home a large pool today with a fish that went about 7lbs...Longer lighter leaders today were key for some guys,,keep that in mind for tomorrow...30lb.flourocarbon is highly suggested by me....Like you never heard me say that before huh....check out some pics....tomorrow we are back at it!!!See ya for coffee...
