Atlantic Highlands blackfishing November 23

The wind blew as hard as they said it would (20 to 25 knots NW ). Made the first drop and started to pick. The action was pretty good with a mix of shorts and keepers. The shorts out numbered the keepers but there was enough keepers to stay on one drop. Fishing in the strong wind can be tough to feel the bites. Decided to stay on the first drop and everyone was able to catch fish. There was one limit and most went home with one to four keepers. We will not be fishing tomorrow ( Sunday November 24) due to the forecast of gale force winds (gusts to 40 knots). The forecast for Monday the 25th looks ok so will be back fishing again. We will be sailing on Thanksgiving day weather permitting. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
