Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing June 27

We have been fishing making both the morning (8am to 12:30) and afternoon (1:30 to 6pm) trips this past week. The fishing has been slower than we like. The action has been mostly shorts with some keepers. But the morning trip today saw a big improvement. The conditions were good and we had more action and more keepers than the last few days. The afternoon was not as good. The south wind picked up and the drift was fast. We caught fish but not as good as the morning. But every day is different so we will have to see what tomorrow brings We have been doing most of our fishing in Sandy Hook bay but sometimes on the ocean side of Sandy Hook depending on the conditions. There are some new pictures in the gallery so check them out. Looking forward to seeing you on board. PS  The weather on the water has been nice with cool wind not like the heat and air quality advisories on lands.
