Bluefin Tuna Fishing We had the Dave B charter out for a day of Bluefin Tuna fishing.. The guys drove out from Harrisburg Pa and we at the dock ready to go at 3am.. We headed out in the worst fog I've seen this year.. Finally after hitting the grounds we had life all around us. Whales, Dolphins, Turtles, but now tuna were in the mixed. We decide to push off further East and started marking fish.. We had two quick bumbs on deep baits but no takers...Both myself and Rich knew we were going to have to just grind it out and go looking for Tuna..

The Guys jigged all day and hung in there like champs. After making another run to more Life. We got a new burst of energy on the Boat.. Dave B hooks up on a New color phase STINGO PBJ 150g in Pink and Silver. At first we thought we had a bluefish since the fish came right to the boat. But once the tuna realized he was hooked. The reel was screaming and the fish was heading deep.. Dave did a great job fighting the tuna and got to see the great power of these fish,,

After a few minutes of tug of war ..The Tuna met Steel FIsh in the box.. Nice 44" Bluefin around 50+lbs.. We reset our drift again and bam! Another tuna, This fish was a smoker, taking a ton of line and just heading as fast as he could away from us. After a few of the guys got turns on this tuna.. we carefully grabs the fish, did a few pics and released it back since it was another under fish..

It was a good day on the water and going 2 for 2 on Tuna wasnt bad at all considering it was a off day out there!!
