Captain's Focus

We ran our first ling trip yesterday and the fares onboard ended up putting a solid catch together. I made the first couple of drops in 130' foot of water and the fish were biting but the conger eels were unbearable. So after weeding through the eels and picking some fish along with a couple of nice whiting we went off to the deeper water. The next couple of wrecks produced a nice catch of ling up to 4lbs. high hook ended up with 25 fish. John Cambell won the pool with a 4lb ling.
