From Captain:

On Memorial Day Monday 5/27/13 we had a 5 man crew of Ryan, Dave, Ari, Bob, and Shelly for a tilefish fishing charter. We took a nice leisurely ride out to the canyon and began our drifts for tiles. Some drifts were better than others and it took a group effort but finally we got our boat limit of tiles up to around 13 lbs. We had virtually no wind and no drift but the men managed to successfully fill the coolers. As a bonus we also landed our over/under in BFT. What a pleasant surprise for the charter to have fresh sashimi at the dock while we filleted the Tiles. Thanks again guys!!!

From Eel Killer at NJFishing:

Headed out 2am with scubanut ,his father and 2 more guys to the canyon for a tilefish fishing charter.  Weatherman was right ,imagine that. Slow pick in the morning but then fishing picked up .Limited the boat with tiles and then came the surprise .Blue fin tuna !!!! they are here !!!!. First we get our under then we get our over .Nice to hear lines scream .Headed home around 3.30pm . Scubanut senior outfished us all on the tiles . Man is in his 70′s worked the rod like a teenager . From ScubaNut on NJfishing:

What a trip. Capt. Denis has yet to disappoint. The crew was great, Timmy da mate worked hard. It was a smooth ride to the canyon and then game on. Limits of Tiles, bonus fish in the tun. Sashimi at the dock, Bag for everyone.

My father was on fire, not only was this his first tile trip ever, but only his second trip out to the canyon.

Bob it was a pleasure, I’m glad you enjoyed yourself and the entertainment provided by Dave and I.
