Captain's Focus

December 22, 2014

Monday

In the morning we fished shallow along the beach, there was a strong north current, that made the bite
a little scratchy . We moved into deeper water, fished different wrecks and depths, it was pick , pick  some keepers at each spot. Later afternoon we moved back to the beach area, and fishing picked up.
We fished an extra hour because of the bite .  In the morning the bite was in the bow and the afternoon the action was in the stern. White leg crabs were  more effective today..  The pool winner was 6 lbs 7 oz. Some of the group had their limit of togs, others had 3-4 keepers, others 1-2, only a few of the group , had empty coolers.. See you in the morning..
We are cancelling the Christmas Eve Day blackfish trip, due to the weather conditions, Sorry !!!
