Tuesday Fluke Marathon

Good weather to be fishing , slight breeze, water temperature 73 degrees, also this morning we had a slower drift, ocean was flat like a pool table. All day we picked at the fish with 1-3 keepers per drift. We moved to fish deeper, and we had nice quality large  sea bass come over the rail all around the boat.Late afternoon the drift picke d up and so did the fluke bite, we stood out fishing a little longer to give the group more fishing time because of the good bite.We had a mixture of fish come aboard, we had fluke, sea bass ,trigger fish and bonita. Kirk Williams had his limit of fluke and sea bass. Ed Gola from Stockton had his limit of fluke and sea bass by 11:30 am. Brenden Franzula took home the $$$ pool with a 5 lb. 4 oz. fluke.Joe  and Jerry had three fluke and three sea bass each. The biggest fluke of the day was  7 lb. 6 oz. , not in pool. Dave Paul took home fluke, sea bass and bonita for his dinner. Everyone went home with fluke or sea bass. Not a bad day of fishing..
