We started the new year  by going black fishing , the weather was decent and so was the ocean.
 The first drop in the morning was mostly short togs only a few keepers. We moved around to other
 areas the drops  had mainly shorts. . In the afternoon we started to get the action from the keeper togs coming over the rail. Several of the group had their limit, also with nice size  ling giving us action. The pool winner was very close, one tog  weighted 8 lb. 7 oz. the winning tog weighted 8 lbs. 9 oz.
Every one went home with fish.
