Captain's Focus

12/22/15 Except for a little rain the second half of the trip it was a nice day to be on the blackfish grounds. We had nice steady fishing all day long with the guys banging away at a mix of keepers and shorts. A couple of first timers took a while to learn the bite but several of our blackfish regulars ended up with their limits up to 7 pounds. The white crabs produced most of the bigger fish today. Water temperature on the grounds is still 53 degrees. Dave Brink, Middletown, NJ, had a limit which included the pool winner.
