Another "spring like weekend" weather wise for us the past couple of days! Â The Blackfish took the weekend off to enjoy the weather and did not bite good for us at all. Â Few here and a few there but slow overall. Â A couple a nice fish took the pool over the weekend! Â Saturday, pool winner was around 10lbs and today pool winner was 11lbs!!! Â There is plenty of fish in our area, you just have to catch the right day they bite. Â Back at it tomorrow! Â The weather looks fine for tomorrow and Tuesday! Â We are a go!
Our afternoon Ling and Cod trip on Saturday was slow as well. Â We did have to deal with some current but overall it was very fishable. Â Some spots have just a handful of Ling and a few were as dead as a door nail. Â We did see a few small Cod as well but the dog fish were brutal. Â We made a good effort but it did not work out for us. Â We will give our best this upcoming Saturday!
