Captain's Focus

February 27th and 28th!

Another nice weekend to be on the water.  It did get a little bumpy in the afternoon on Sunday but it was fishable!

Fishing was slow for us over the weekend.  We did pick a few Blackfish on Saturday but the bites were few and far between.  There was also a pollack and ling caught as well.  Pat Farley of Point Pleasant had the big fish on Saturday weighing 11lbs!

We did have better life on Sunday with some nice Blackfish coming over the rail but it was still nothing great.  High hook had 3, a couple 1s and 2s and some had a tough day or just caught shorts.  Pool winner went around 8lbs today!

We would like to thank everyone who fished with us this winter!  It had its ups and downs but overall, I thought it was pretty good!

We will be heading to the boat yard towards the beginning of next week and will be getting ready for the spring!  We are looking foward to getting back out there in April for some more Blackfishing!!!!  We will keep you posted of any upcoming trips in March!

Stop by our Facebook page to check out a few photos from over the weekend!

Talk to you soon,

Capt. Matt
