Captain's Focus

9-15-13 Very nice conditions on our way offshore today.Flat calm and cool..Water dropped down to 66 degrees from the cold overnite. The winds were much lighter but man did we cover some ground on the drift..We had that strong north tide again and you need alot of weight to stay in the game today...Although I cant say the fishing was real good today I can say it was alot better than yeseterday..Every drift but one when the tide was changing we had keeper fluke come to the net..Best drift we had 8 keepers come up,,but the others we had anywhere from 4-6.Some shorts mixed in around the boat..Dragging bait was best again,,High hook had three keeper flukes,,,some two,,one and some just got shut out but still alot better than yesterday..Pool fish was nailed in the final minutes and was around 3-4lbs..We are on for tomorrow but Tuesday is looking questionable.....See ya then,,check out some pics...
