Atlantic Highlands bottom fishing November 3 03 November 2017 Capt. Tom Made our 3 4 day bottom fishing trip for seabass porgies and blackfish again today. We are 3 4 day bottom fishing for seabass porgies and blackfish everyday leaving at 7 30 and returning between 2 30 and 3 pm.

Now, Capt. Dave Riback of the Queen Mary from Point Pleasant says they're all over 10 pounds, mostly in the mid-teens, plus some in the 20-pound class -- and there's lots of them. He found enough keepers on the N. J. side before going over to N. Y. where lots of bonus bass were released -- though he ended up being able to keep some some of them upon returning to N. J. Joe Melillo, at Castaways Tackle in Point Pleasant, reported a good start to winter flounder fishing at both ends of the canal on both worms and clams.
Even despite the beautiful weather and countless amounts of boats racing towards the birds the, fish stayed around and were eating for most of the day. All mixed sizes again we threw back many NJ bonus fish in NY waters again today only keeping the 28 inch or bigger Stripers, but we found some fish on the jersey side at the end of the day and were able to use a few our bonus tags.
