Dave Lilly has been struggling to catch one or two bass on bunker spoons despite all the bass he sees and records, but this morning he went further back in the bay and released seven that were in the upper teens to the lower twenties in weight. Allen Riley fished the Sandy Hook surf from 5-8 Friday morning under perfect conditions with no sign of fish or bait.
Captain Willy and mate Tyler had Brian and friends out today for bass. The guys didn't have interest in trolling so it took a little but they eventually found some active bass on bunker and it lasted for hours.

Started the day off quickly getting two keepers followed by a 52 inch fish which was quickly released. On our way home found an active pod of bunker where we snagged and dropped another fish which was also released, 49 inch long by 29 girth estimated at 51 pounds!
