On the morning trip we had good short action again with everyone catching but only one keeper. On the afternoon trip the short action was good and we have a few keeper fluke.
FISHERMEN Mondays Report Made our way into the Ocean once again, had a little East wind blowing but it wasn't too bad. Current started to run hard up the beach across the wind, breeze picked up and it got rolley as hell.
Early last week you could see 40-feet visibility and there were Spanish mackerel, Bonita, ribbon fish, and a Cobia came by the boat. Later in the week it blew out of the southwest and the water got cloudy and green again.

The Season that sounds like the Broken record -Shorts- Shorts Shorts. Yesterday's charter worked through 200 shorts to put a 1 2 dozen keeps in the boat.

We had a pretty good NE wind today that made some areas a little rough not horrible but a annoying roll so we stayed away from those places. which is good for you as the crowds will be small but not so much for me.
Hey gang, hundreds of fluke today but just hard to get keepers. If we did not have to follow the 18 fluke guidelines everyone would have had keepers on the boat today.
Capt. Rob Semkewyc also did well with keepers that day, but today it was back to shorts as one angler caught 27 without a keeper on the Sea Hunter. Bob Correll reported from Bay Head that the cocktail blues failed to hit metal in t he surf for the second day in a row.
